decisivemoment

TIMING IS EVERYTHING.

Whether it is the synchronicity of our lives or the exact moment you push the shutter. There is a perfect moment for all things.

In photography we call this moment, THE DECISIVE MOMENT.

Now, most of us don’t have The Decisive Moment happen on command every time we pick up our cameras.

Some people even complain that everything goes awry! (Kids are on the move, they lose interest, people become uncomfortable or awkward being photographed, cheesy fake smiles appear, and on and on.)

And even when things in the environment are working in our favor, we’ve all experienced the photo that happened right before/or after the climax of emotion. (Pretty much 99% of my cell phone pictures miss the moment because of the lag in shutter! I hate this!)

I’ll let you in on a little secret…

There is an art to creating The Decisive Moment. Once you understand how to invite those moments you can begin to create them intentionally rather than relying on luck.

Let’s explore those strategies!
